Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you use Peakxy we collect and store:

• Account details — your name and email address, handled by our sign-in provider, Clerk.
• Your chats — the messages you exchange with coaches, including photos you choose to attach. Conversations are stored on our servers so your coaches remember context, your history follows you across devices, and it survives reinstalling the app. Each conversation is kept until you delete it (or your account).
• Coaching data you create — goals, logged wins, planned check-ins, and coach settings.
• AI-generated notes about you — to make coaching feel continuous, each coach keeps short structured notes about what they've learned (your goals, situation, people you've mentioned), plus weekly recaps of patterns like strengths and habits. You can see every note and delete any of them in the app (Coach → "What your coach knows about you"); a deleted note is never re-learned. All of it is deleted when you delete your data.
• Usage counts — like messages sent per day, used to enforce plan limits.
• Product analytics — first-party usage events on our own infrastructure (things like feature usage, message counts, and response times) that help us understand what's working and improve the coaching. We do not use any third-party analytics services or trackers.
• Payment status — your plan tier and subscription status. Card numbers never touch our servers; payments are handled entirely by Stripe.
• Notifications — if you enable them, we store a device push token and your timezone so coaches can send check-in reminders you agreed to (at most 2 per day, never overnight). Disable notifications in iOS Settings anytime and the token is no longer used; deleting your data deletes it.

We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics, we don't sell your data, and we don't show ads.

Photos you attach

If you attach a photo to a message, it is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) so the coach can respond to it, and stored on our servers for 90 days, after which it is automatically deleted. A short text description generated when you send the photo remains part of your chat history, so older conversations still make sense after the photo itself is gone. Photos are used for nothing else — no facial recognition, no advertising, no sharing beyond the providers listed below. Deleting your data deletes them immediately.

Where your data lives

Your synced data is stored with Cloudflare (our hosting provider) in the United States, and a copy is kept in your browser's local storage on each device you use. We keep your data until you delete it or ask us to.

Who processes it

• Clerk — sign-in and account management. Clerk sets the cookies that keep you signed in; these are the only cookies Peakxy uses.
• Anthropic — receives the messages and photos you send (plus relevant context like your goals and the coach's memory of you) to generate coach replies.
• Stripe — payments and subscriptions.
• Cloudflare — hosting and storage.

Each provider receives only what it needs to do its job.

Your chats

Chat content is stored so your coaches remember context and your history follows you across devices. We don't read your conversations except when you ask for support or the law requires us to disclose information.

Your controls

Export — download your data anytime in Settings → Data. Delete a conversation — deleting a chat in the app permanently removes it from our servers. Delete everything — erase all synced chats and coaching data in Settings → Data. To delete your account itself (your sign-in and email), email support@peakxy.com and we'll remove it.

Children

Peakxy is for people 16 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13; if you believe a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
